Machine Cable
Steel-cased cable with a glowing red energy channel. It runs across the whole planet.
Machine cable points along the direction you place it, like a log. The sides show the steel housing and red channel; the ends show the glowing core.
In the world it generates as bundles 6 blocks wide and 4 tall that follow a grid roughly every 160 blocks, connecting the transmission pylons. In Desert of the Real it is decorative; powered cables are planned for 01 Generators.
